no targets after he catches a 62 yard TD. Perplexing.
Especially since we need someone desperately who can stretch the field.
Go Rams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't get it either. I think Tutu should be getting more snaps right now since this might be his last year here anyway.
As for all the Tutu supporters who said "McVay knows more than we do, so I trust his judgement on Tutu"...well McVay has clearly not played Tutu more for a reason. What could that reason be?
McVay doesn't want to win?
McVay doesn't know how to use him in this O?
Tutu can only run "uncontested" deep routes?
Tutu doesn't fully know enough of the playbook or isn't capable of executing it? ie; blocking, etc.
The video in the first post is a good example of why IMO. Tutu's TD this week came on an "uncontested" deep route again. The way to shut down Tutu is to get hands on him at the LOS or ASAP to disrupt his route or re-route him. If he gets by you, he could be gone.
The question has been asked: "Why is Powell getting all the reps"?
IMO, Powell is more versatile, stronger, knows more of the playbook and can play Special Teams too....and do all them better than Tutu and it's not even close.
Tutu may be "faster" but Powell looks more "explosive" IMO.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
