While I agree with going all in when you have a window, the Rams pretty much got Stafford, went all in and now are toast.
No picks, no cap space, no fun.
For all the Bulger and Bradford years, I would rather be competitive every year than go all in get 1 SB, then suck for 8 years.

Rams might yet surprise this year by at least making the playoffs, although I no longer see SB as a likelihood.
Next year they simply reload, no rebuild will be necessary.

Not necessarily in that order. And they have FA, trades, and the draft to get those 5 needed upgrades.
Rams aren’t that far off if they hit on those needs plus retain their highest priority UFA’s.
