I recall that in 2018 media said Rams were "all in"

but rams DID make it to SB. Lost, but still, a great year

But maybe they paid for it a little, but then wanted
to upgrade with a talented, but streaky QB and
other stuff and went all in again.

Would rather it be this way than what it was
in the 70s and 80s--getting to the door of
the SB and never getting there or losing.
