We were down to more than just "backups". We're talking 3rd, 4th and 5th stringers. Not just ONE...but 3-4 3rd, 4the and 5th stringers have to all play at one time!

They aren't starters for a reason and if it wasn't for injuries they might not ever get a chance to play.

As I said, you cannot start 3rd, 4th and 5th string players on the OL and expect to be productive. It just doesn't happen. These type players are emergency depth only type players.

I don't care how good the rest of the team is. If you are starting 3-4 3rd, 4th and 5th stringers on the OL you should be very happy you have won ANY games at all, let alone 3 like we have.

Again, name another team who has started 3-4 3rd, 4th and 5th stringers on the OL and still had a winning record. You won't find one even if you did keep up with other teams injuries.
