The author names names that are impossible to ignore.
A re-eval of draft priorities seems in order. We is being severely outdrafted. That can;t be allowed to continue.
yes, we have had some misses, but it's amazing to me that people simply overlook how successful the Rams have been in the previous five years and ALL of those years without a 1st round pick and oh bybthe way, the Rams WON THE SUPER BOWL last year....eff them picks worked!!!
So let's fire everybody??
the Rams haven't had a pick higher than 50th in five years..... yet we have been one of the best team in the league in that span....Could they have made some better picks? Yes, but this is a knee jerk reaction article to an injury rattled season
lmk when the Niners, Seahawks or Cardinals win the Super Bowl with all those great picks
Nobody is talking about firing Snead or McVay, R2K. Where is that overreaction coming from?
Maybe a few scouts that have a recent track record of inaccurate evals? That would be both common sense AND good business.
And the author was comparing 2nd and 3rd round pick results between the various teams in NFC West. That’s not ‘knee jerk’, that’s responsible and fair journalism.
And, unfortunately, Snead’s results don’t compare favorably with the others when comparing apples to apples. It is what it is. Snead/McVay need to pick it up because this disparity just cannot continue. Perhaps McVay is asking Snead for the ‘wrong’ types of players at positions?
Specifically at OL, Edge, RB, and TE? I’m now seriously wondering about this aspect.
im not talking about Snead or McVay , I'm referring to the article wanting to fire everyone in the scouting dept.
and yes, I'd say Sneads drafts compare very favorably considering how much better the Rams have been than those other teams in that span....
like it or not, those players have contributed to that winning besides Atwell
