we can't leave the draft bare with no picks above a 3rd round.....we can't keep doing that. We need to start at some time holding fast with who we have in house to build on. We don't have any cap space to get major competitors.....IF they intend to bring back OBJ in Nov. that is going to take up some cap space. You can look at guys under performing I guess like Floyd, but is he going to bring you+we just gave him an extension...dead money looming.....
I know they make some imaginative moves but I just don't see with what they need to squeeze out a nugget or 2 at this time. As far as O-Line goes, IMO nobody is going to let go a solid starter type when most teams are still in the hopes of playoffs...plus a real player is going to cost and we don't have it, same with an edge guy......
I think they go slow on the trades this year and roll the dice with what we have coming back, get guys like we just picked up.....
Eventually they are going to trade themselves out of picks if they don't start reining it in. A team has to have a few upper level picks to continue going the way they have been going.
