Let’s talk about that OL, BRO.
For openers, did you notice that I didn’t include Edwards in my projection? Even if healthy, I consider him the weakest link. And surely gone after this season, anyway. I actually would prefer Shelton at LG and leave Aboushi at RG. I think Aboushi can and will settle in and gel between Allen and Hav. Did you notice his improvement in 2nd half of Panthers game?
The other thing is this. Realistically, just what caliber interior Olineman can Snead acquire at this late date? Either gonna be the dregs or he’ll have to pay an arm and a leg for a quality interior lineman to a team that’s already given up on this season.
We can win in this current NFC with the OL I listed, I think. ‘Course, if the cascade of injuries continue then it won’t really matter what we do there. NO team can survive endless continued injuries at one position group.
Simply put, I see more bang for buck, not to mention need and doability at Edge and RB than OL.
Obviously, I can understand how reasonable people might have differing opinions.
