Tak is a desperate chioce. But the Rams are betting that he can turn it around or they wouldn't have brought him in. They undoubtedly weighed: potential good edge rusher vs. locxerroom cancer, team disrupter, head case - and gave it a go. Ifr they believe in him that will help him believe in himself. When that happens for a person they have less to prove, more to give back.
Take Jalen Ramsey: When he came here there was skepticism, uncertainty. I don't want to air the man's dirty laundry again; time to bury it. He's moved on and proven his immense value, but Jalen had situations with his former team that he's overcome and outgrown as a Ram. Now he's a respected team captain. That's why in a previous post I suggested he could come alongside Tak, mentor and inspire him to do the same. Jalen dug himself out and could help dig Tak out..
We want OBJ back. When he came here there was plenty of worry - his rep was that of a disruptive primadonna who was past his peak - turns out he's still got it as a premier wide receiver, valuable team player, with enough good rapport and respect to crash coach's wedding, and he wants to come back.
We've reclaimed those two among others; I hope Tak is next and iproves himself worth it. .
