At least not yet.
Top ten teams have lost every week and some FCS schools are competing with FBS teams.
It would stand to reason, that if it was just pure talent that the best players would transfer to bigger schools, leaving the smaller schools talent deprived ... but I don't think it's pure talent. I am seeing transfers get replaced on smaller teams with quality players ready to take their spot.
Case in point, Tulsa had 2 really good CBs that both transferred to Mizzou. The guys behind them on Tulsa were also high quality players.
The main thing I like, is that in the FBS, if you don't have a QB that can play, you can't really compete. But you get squads with 0 QBs and squads with 2 or 3. Now that evens out and every QB who can dish it will likely find a home.
I'm bothered by it, but I feel like it puts the best possible combo of players on the field ... so I am trying to weigh my displeasure against an unbiased analysis of what I am watching.
