I agree with you. It's been a problem for a long time going back to when McVay was in Washington. I posted an article on it a few years ago.

I think part of the problem is the OL isn't built for short yardage and we haven't had a big enough RB to get tough yards on their own. I also am not a fan of some of the play calling down there from McVay.
