We, on here, would be devastated. We're die hards. Hence being on a Rams / NFL Board all the time. Personally, I know a TON of guys who LOVED LOVED LOVED sports when we were kids but now almost get disgusted with me when I even talk football. My late Brother was an example. HE is a reason I became a Rams fan. He loved football and the Miami Dolphins. I thought he was just B.S. ing back in 1982, when the NFL went on strike. He told me a day later..... I . AM. DOOOONE with the NFL!" He sure was! He never spent another dime on game tickets or shirts and NEVER watched....other than a few Rams games with me. My Captain on the Fire Dept was the same way. He doesn't watch ANY sports anymore. And he almost made the cut for the Cincinnati Reds back in the early 1970s.
