No. Even though it was a local team that won't apply in the future. The reason KTTV had it on was because they got a lot of money for advertising that all future games will be on Amazon Prime. There were several commercials addressing this. Apparently Amazon Prime has a new format that will display the game in ways never before covered on the networks. They think they can do a far better job on the coverage especially with all the new stuff they plan on using. And of course it will require a subscription to watch. Keep in mind everything -I mean everything-will be streaming in the near future.
so it was on all Fox stations across the nation just for the first game???
That was not the case. Here in St Louis, the Pirates vs Mets game was on Fox last night.
