Oldnotdead and others claimed Morris brought in his scheme
and all that false stuff
Here is a comparison of what he ran in ATL
and what he ran in LA
It's clear, and no one can deny this anymore,
Morris runs Staley's scheme.
Tweaks, him putting his stamp on it, perhaps
simplified it at first due to all the new guys,
all that is usual, normal and does not change
the scheme. Nor does adjustments from week
to week based on opponents...
This is the Fangio defense, handed down
to Staley and Morris ran in in 2021.
Can there be some tweaks in 2022? Sure,
looks like with Jones and Wagner there will
be less of the 5-1 (Penny front) and also
more of the tilted front (called Gold) on 3rd downs
but the cover 2/4 shell with match quarters
will remain the rule.
