I see your points.
I guess if you are going to play "man" you better have really good CB's who can do it without getting beat more often than not. Ramsey happens to be "that good". (at least he was lol ) He is considered Top 5 in the league. If there is anyone I would trust to handle "man", it would be Jalen Ramsey.
The truth is you can get beat no matter what coverage you run be it man, zone or some type of hybrid scheme.
IMO, Talent overrides scheme and a "generational" talent like Ramsey should be able to handle whatever you ask him to do and do it better than most of his peers.
My problem is that it seems he is getting beat more often now regardless of the "scheme". lol
Did you see his podcast? He kinda blamed the "zone" for the Diggs TD. I blame Ramsey for not recognizing what is going on before it was too late. lol
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
