Last year, this role went to Djax, and he made some hay with it before his ego got in the way. McClutch has an outstanding opportunity when his name's called. He's hungry, and some of the things Djax fluffed on, I expect this kid to bring in spades- blocking, teams. He's going to get to go to Kupp University, and I expect he'll be an avid student.
There's a lot to be excited about with our receiver group now. Last year felt like a lot of wishful thinking with Djax and OBJ. Glad it worked out, but that was in no way guaranteed. I like the spot we're in now much better- two young hungry studs looking to earn their stripes. It's going to be a good time watching them have at it.
