Wolford plays small.

August 20, 2022 05:55PM
I thought Wolford read the field and threw very well. He hit some fine passes.

But with the scrub OL breaking down, he just got swallowed up. He had no capacity for standing in there and making plays under duress. Some small QBs can play big. Wolford can't. I cannot imagine him running an offense under pressure.

B P, on the other hand, showed more command of the field, reading and hitting receivers in good time than he has done. And he can deal with pressure. Even without scrambling, he can stand in there, buy time, and make a play.

I am not thrilled with either. But in a choice between the 2, I pick B P.

I'd still rather see Perkins as the backup
