All things considered, (Texans playing starters, poor oline play, whatever.) For me, the eyeball test says Perkins needs to be the number 2. He seems to elevate the players around him, and yes, he makes plays. He can make something out of nothing. Wolford seems to make nothing out of nothing. I have nothing against Wolford, I like his grit and toughness. But I have seen nothing to make me think he could help the Rams win if Stafford happens to go down for any type of extended time period. If Stafford goes down. The Rams are done.
Perkins on the other hand, makes me think we could still win a few games.
