I didn't see the game. Just a few highlights (including his two TDs). But I don't think any UDFA makes (or fails to make) the team on one game. Credit the kid for coming up with two very good contested catches. And they have talked about him in camp quite a bit. But there are two more games plus the joint practices with the Bengals to get through.
If they are going to carry him as an 8th WR I would imagine that means no QB3 (PS for Perkins).
McCutcheon has also been impressing everyone for 2-3 weeks in camp. The preseason games are just the final exam. Camp practices are where coaches form their opinions.
So far this kid has been getting rave reviews in all venues from all observers.
I now have zero doubt that he makes the 53. Only question left is how high on the WR pecking order does he climb?
