I tried to focus on Bruss and I didn't see anything special happening from him. He didn't fail per say but I didn't see any reason for glowing praise. Of course I hope he develops into at least a Corbett. I never believed he would beat out Shelton who is a solid vet.
It's funny, most teams have little to no expectation for their mid and late round picks to start in the NFL. This guy is selected 104 and we're supposed to be surprised. That is how well the Rams have picked lately. And an undrafted guy like McCutcheon looks like a winner. It's amazing. Anyway, Bruss has a couple more fake games to show he can dominate other backups. He should get better every game.
