This underrated McCutcheon has been blowing it up in camp, too. Jourdan loves him.

He’s got size and blocking ability that McVay loves and that Atwell will never have. When Atwell comes on the field it’s a ‘tell’ because the D knows he can only do so many things. McCutcheon could stay on the field indefinitely as either 3rd or 4th WR and either be a pass receiving threat or a good blocker for the running game. That’s a huge advantage for McVay’s scheming.

It’s still early. Only 1 preseason game under McCutcheon’s belt, but damn! It was a helluva game while catching passes from the limited Perkins. Plus he’s had a head turning camp, too.

Color me very impressed so far. Can’t wait to see where this leads, tbh. I suspect that Snead and his scouts have found another udfa gem here.
