I don't buy it. If that was the meaning of the 2 palm trees, I'm pretty sure it would have been included in the explanations of what everything in the ring design means. It wasn't. Why not state that's what it means if that's what it means? Because that's not what it means! The 2 palm trees are an homage to the city of Los Angeles, not their Super Bowl record. Given explanations of the ring even state that. Given how things went down concerning the move, I can't say I'm surprised.
