If another team gets involved, then the Rams might be in the same situation that they were in with Von Miller.
I presume the holdup is the Rams want a good physical. There were rumors his knee was very bad prior to it finally going out on him. So I don't think they will pay him until he's at that point where he can pass a physical and show he's still got the quicks.
Also and btw the Rams WR group is loaded right now. Even without him this offense is going to be very tough to stop. When you couple that with limited cap space, it seems to indicate (to me at least) that if and when he can pass a physical someone else will be offering him more.
Basically the only way the Rams get him is if he takes a lesser deal because he wants to be in LA. He clearly wants to be in LA, too, but once those contracts start getting thrown around...
