as 'gravy'.... very, Very, VERY good gravy.... but I think we can repeat without him.
Which brings up... should OBJ be signed, (and I think he will be), managing that plethora of talent is daunting. I'm not sure how you do it, to be honest.

I agree. I'd love to have him back but if I had to choose, I'd lean towards bring in Quinn.
That's the move that I think would push us over the top again.
If the Rams believe that OBJ is that key move to do it, I will trust them because they earned it.
If the Rams are going all in balls to the wall for the next three years I am sure the capologists can find a way to fit them both in especially if it requires a little pick sweetener to get the Bears to pay part of the freight. Adding Quinn would mean the defense would probably be better this year than last. Quinn approximates the Bill's Miller and the adding of Wagner to shore up the middle of the defense would more than makeup for the loss of our #2 CB Darious.
As for OBJ on the offensive side of the ball, yes it is gravy but it is the kind of gravy that gets you championships. Two years ago the Bucs had too many weapons for even good defenses to account for, Evans, Godwin, Gronk and then AB. What AB gave them was in essence a third #1 WR to deal with on top of a very good TE. Last year the Rams in theory would have had three #1 WR's and a good TE. Injuries happen and they happened to both the Rams and Bucs last year but when fully healthy the 21 Bucs and 22 Rams were nigh impossible to match up with. This year a combination of Kupp, Robinson, Higbee and Jefferson is very good but once you add in OBJ it becomes impossible to stop. We saw in the playoffs the combination of OBJ and Kupp was hard to hold but to add in Robinson and a healthy HIgbee on top of that???
