Here's one way:

AD gets a 90 rating in someone's system and no one else gets higher than 85. So he's considered the best player in the league.

However, AD should have actually been graded at 96. Therefore he's underrated.

He's the best in the league. And he's better than most people think. That isn't a contradiction.
