I read it as #99 is so dominant that even though he is routinely talked about as one of, if not the best player in the league, it still is underselling how truly gifted he is. I read the article as the biggest possible compliment not as click bait. This guy is not from this Earth type of compliment
AD is pretty much consensus best defender in NFL for the last several years and some say best player period in NFL
He is hardly underrated by any stretch of the imagination
now, had this been written 4 years ago I could see his point.
