I agree that the pro scouts play a big part in the Rams success, in trades and waiver pickups.
I focus on the time period since McVay became head coach because Snead has mentioned multiple times that McVay and his coaching staff do a great job identifying traits and skills they need from each position. Equally important, they specify skills NOT required from each position. Snead has commented that this helps scouts zoom in on players for the specific traits, especially in the mid to later rounds.
