I think we need to consider the round in which the player was drafted. While I consider Nick Scott a hit, he was drafted in the 7th round.

Everett was drafted in the 2nd round ahead of Cooper Kupp and John Johnson. Here are his stats with the Rams:
2017: 16 catches, 32 targets, 244 yards
2018: 33, 50, 320
2019: 37, 60, 408
2020: 41, 62, 417

To me, a 2nd round player needs to deliver more to be considered a hit...
