If the Rams signed Ingram the article says the Chiefs would be eligible to get a comp pick. But it doesn't specifically say the Rams would lose one.

As I read the article I assumed the Chiefs would get a comp pick but the Rams would be scott free. But what you thought makes perfect sense - that Ingram would also impact the Rams' comp pick formula.

I took a quick look at the CBA and didn't find anything that might clear that up. I'll keep looking and post if I find something.
