Many years ago I used to post daily when living outside of Philly. Old screen name "Football Nazi" which wasn't meant to be offensive, but instead a take on Seinfelds' Soup Nazi character and as a commissioner of a fantasy football league since 1982, the guys would call me the football nazi "No more football for you!" when guys would be bad for our league and I would find new owners for their teams. Proved to be wise because its still going strong today!
I changed my screen name because I surely didn't want to offend anyone. During that I time I took a business trip to Portland Maine and got to briefly meet Zack Neruda (screen name). In 2000 I moved to Pittsburgh and had many opportunities to go to St Louis with work associates which was especially fun during the GSOT days! About 8 years ago, I moved to WV but all 4 of my kids still live and work in Pittsburgh as an Accountant (Deloitte), Actuary (Dicks Sporting Goods)& 2 financial advisors (Allegheny Investments & PNC) and have since meet many more contacts that I ever dreamed they would have. My youngest son lives and breathes the NFL everyday and has the most interesting people he meets although my daughters at Dick's meets an amazing amount of Pittsburgh pro athletes due to all of their corporate sponsors and meetings. In fact sat at table last week at a local restaurant recently where she told me that Aaron ordered, chickens, shrimp, scallops and some sort of fish. Guess he is still loading up the protein LOL ! I asked her to ask if he was retiring and she said she didn't want to interrupt his family like other fans SIGH !
He is my youngest with Dan O
PS- Also in as PhillyPittRAM screen name or something like that and have become more of a spectator over the last decade in my later years although can honestly say I have visited this site daily for decades!
