(2) he wants fair money
and he is declining in skills----unless he turns it around
So, Rams use a scheme that uses 1 LBer the vast majority of the time...so he would have
to fit in and even beat out (He wouldn't just be given the "1" job, Jones might simply be better)
That would have to be seen . . .
Smarts wise and leadership wise Wagner is off the charts he can play any defense, but if Rams do sign him they
are getting a guy who is 80-85% of what he was (maybe less) ANd is his 80-85% better
than Jones' best---his 100%?
Tough call.
