He wants what he has in Matt- a collaborator. I think Baker can bring a similar dynamic.
They showed that snippet of play calls that Wolf memorizes in his car. He speaks the language, and it's why he's had the job. Too bad his arm is the reason he won't keep it.
Way too early to know how this all shakes out. Will we be good with Stafford/Mayfield/Wolf? Will Matt retire? Does McVay want to draft a QB who can run like Perkins, but actually knows how to run an offense?
Don't know how this shakes out, but at least I'm looking forward to what the off-season brings instead of dreading it now.
