Here's my take, the Rams are pretty deep as a roster. They are loaded with players in their 2nd-3rd years. Rams just won a Super Bowl, so we do have TALENT on the roster.
I remember how many times Hekker saved our teams bacon with punts that pinned the other team wayyyyyy back, when we really needed it. Plus, Araiza is a lefty, so that spin will really screw up some returners.
ST's is 1/3 of the game....Ram fans got spoiled with Hekker....I think, without question that RD5 pick #175 could be used for a punter...If he's there at #175, then no doubt I'm willing to use that pick on Araiza.
Honestly, I’d rather have the Stout kid later in the draft, oldschool. I prefer an accurate and directional punter that yields better net yardage.
He might be available in the 6th. MUCH better value, imo.
