A few Mocks where Rams picked P Matt Araiza at #142. I like him!

If Rams pass on RD 4 pick #142....I think they are rolling the dice for him to be there at RD 5 #175.

I just remember how great it was to have Hekker as our punter.

Araiza is a home grown SoCal kid from San Diego...I think he would be a very solid pick.

I understand the hesitance fans have for the Rams selecting a Punter with their first overall selection of the draft at #104.

I'm not saying he will be my first choice with who's left on the board, but I wouldn't be upset if the Rams picked him at #104.

If Araiza is available at pick #142, It would be crazy if the Rams passed on him. (Seems doubtful that he slides that far though).

I keep reading that he's a merely a big leg "boom" only punter and the Rams are better off with a directional punter in the later rounds.

I don't buy that thinking. He can kick field goals if Matt Gay was to miss a couple of games due to injury.

No reason he can't work on his craft as a professional improving his (directional punting).

This kid can flip the field with his bionic left leg.

Discounting his directional punting and assuming the Rams will mostly be punting from their own 40 plus yard line is not how I value Araiza.

Fingers crossed he slides to #142 but very unlikely.
