Thoughts on these guys?
Bonitto OK I've got him in the top 2 rounds firmly. No idea where others have him, but he is flying under the radar due to all the edge depth at the top of the draft. He fits the Rams to a T. But is long gone.
Enagbare SC He's interesting. I think he fits a 34, SC played him in a 2 point, mostly from the right side of the D. He is more explosive than his combine testing so his numbers don't bother me. For a guy 260 lbs, he can get pushed around in the run game. He's also not exactly the most flexible edge, more linear in his pursuit. That typically pushes edges down the board. See: Hamilcar Rasheed from last year...I like him in the back half of the 3rd right now and would love to draft him.
Gunter Coastal Carolina I like him, but even though he is almost identical in height and weight as Enagbare, they have polar opposite games. Both are speed to power rushers (that I love) but Gunter sets a nice edge against the run and his pass rush needs developing. Since the NFL puts a premium on getting to the QB, I have him as a day 3 guy. 5th round? Im not near that far yet.
Bellinger SDst. I tried mocking him to the Rams, I just had bigger fish to fry in rounds 3 and 4 and I don't see him making it to the end of round 5. That said, he is dual threat TE. One of the best in line blockers in the class and does a good job catching footballs. If he is there at the end of round 5, I'd snap him up in a minute, there is plenty of depth in this TE, but no real studs, so I think teams will draft the TE that fits their scheme the best. No ones top 10 TE list will look the same. I think that makes for a volatile TE draft.
Marcus Jones Houston UH played him outside but at 5'-8", he's a nickel CB IMO. He just lacks the size and length to hang outside. Him and Roger McCreary had sub 29" arms. THats an issue on the outside IMO. He plays bigger, but he is still limited at the catch point. Someone will snag him in the 3rd or early 4th and plug him into the slot and be happy. I just think the Rams are looking for more size.Chase Lucas makes more of a fit in that range. And I love the kid from the Senior Bowl, from Fayetteville. Love his size, speed physicality and he balled out at the Senior Bowl practices.
I'm targeting waletzko and Volson as well.
