Here’s what I mean.
McVay is the perfect HC to scheme Kupp, Robinson, and Woods open. Each receivers’ talents will be maximized. That’s no small thing. I will go so far as to say that only Shanny might be his equal when it comes to O scheming.
Stafford will have so many choices of open receivers on so many snaps that he’ll think he died and went to heaven. We saw what happened last year when Stafford and Kupp got synced up. Can you imagine Stafford being synced up with THESE three on every pass play? Goodness.
Finally, Kupp was already virtually uncoverable even in the SB when he was practically the only viable receiving weapon. AR is open when he’s not open and Woods ain’t far behind in terms of getting open with his routes and his superior hands (not to mention sweeps).
Honestly, it ALMOST seems unfair to unleash these 3 WR’s while Stafford is QB, don’t you think?
