I read a lot of NFL forums outside of the Rams regarding salary cap issues and Ideas of how the cap can be manipulated to free up space.

If an NFL franchise has a salary cap genius and a very rich owner, they can finagle their way to free up cap space if they really desire a player.

Of course, there will be some offset consequences freeing up cap space, but to say they have no money and a player is not going to a team that wants a player is merely a projection and guess not close to a fact.

The Rams are fortunate to have a top 3 prosperous wealthy owner (Kroenke) and (salary cap wizard) Tony Pastoors to compensate their miscalculations and untangle tied up cap space when they are in the red.
