Littleton played under Wade when he was with the Rams. I suspect he'd be a good fit for the Fangio defense but it would still be something new to him.
It looks like the Raiders run a 4-3 so maybe that defense wasn't a good fit for Littleton and could explain why he didn't perform as well with them.
As much as I would like Wagner or Hicks next to EJones it seems like the Rams don't value their ILB to that extent. I think the Rams would be content with EJones and Howard starting at ILB, but signing Littleton would provide some competition and whoever lost out would at least be quality depth.
With Reeder on the FA market the Rams have EJones, Rozeboom, and Howard: they're gonna need a body or two (or three) there - can't argue if Littleton is one of them.
