Mack is younger, but had been injured
IMO, Miller was better than Mack in their primes
but Miller the better leader, too
The other key is Chargers copying Rams model
get a rushers, you can never have too many
and Mack, though coming off injury is better than
any 2nd rounder edge rusher...
But if Rams lose Miller get some salvage value
on the investment... but when you get a ring
and that guy helped you get it in a big way
it was worth it if we didn't get anything back.
But you analysis shows what the going rate for a
pass rusher is — an 2nd rounder
Rams gave up a late 2nd and late 3rd--still a good 2nd rounder value
The points are enough to value a 4th rounders, but then again, Mack younger
so he was likely worth a 4th rounder more...just one that
both you could day were even on the "injury" front.
