Typo in my analysis of the Rich Hill comparison - does not change the analysis just want the information to be correct

March 11, 2022 08:04AM
With the Rich Hill trade value chart, the Rams gave up picks 62 (80 points) and 93 (39 points) for a total of 119 points. The chargers gave up pick 48 (120 points) plus an equivalent of a 7th (2 points) for 122 points. Please note that 7th round picks range from 3 to 1 points. I assume the chargers do not finish in the bottom 8 teams so that removes the 3 and only the SB teams' picks are worth 1 point so that is why I went with 2. So the rams gave up 17 points MORE which is equal to the top of the 4th round comp picks. If the rams get a comp pick back in the 2023 3rd (I put it at 100) then that works out to be a 4th round comp pick in 2022 (pick 140) and gain back 16 points for a total of losing 1 point (a SB competing team's 7th).

  Agree, always

Agree. If the Rams lose Miller and get nothing back, it was worth it
