He has to have that strength to run that culture like McVay does. I think Staley is a heck of a coach but McVay is kind of unique in that. Where McVay probably has the ability to get production out of most players you give him, even some of the ones who might be problematic for other coaches.

So we'll see how this signing works out for them. I haven't watched a ton of Bears games btw but given that their new HC made his bones with that old loaf system from the Dungy tree, and the fact that he packaged it in his own form in Indy, makes me think that reviewing film he saw some laziness with Mack. Just a hunch I have there.
