Just because the Bears traded Mack and kept Quinn doesn't necessarily mean they value Quinn more. It could just mean they got a better offer for Mack.

Here's a hypothetical scenario to help me illustrate my point. Suppose I owned a 2015 F250 that's worth $33,000 and a 2011 F250 that's worth $18,000 and I decide to sell one of them. My best offer for the newer truck is $35,000 and my best offer for the older truck is $15,000. So I decide to sell the newer truck. That doesn't mean I value the 2011 more than the 2015: it just means that based on the offers on the table it made more sense to sell the newer truck.
