Morris had never been a match quarters guy. That's a fact. He ran it here. That's a fact. So in his development into the DC we now have preparing for what should be a great second season what he learned in year one has helped him to grow into a guy who can call any sort of defense that you want for a given offense.

Which is what McVay said he wanted when he moved on from Wade. He wanted to be able to do what the Pats did that year, which is shift up tendencies from front to back end on the fly and play different ways.

Where personnel is going to factor in is in the secondary. They need some more pieces to be able to fully run some back end stuff they want to run without over-reliance on the rush.
