Thinking back to 99 I as many other Rams fans thought we would win at least one more SB with this group of players and coaches.
Then Vermeil stepped down but I was still confident.
SB 36 destroyed the GSOT and our dream of becoming a dynasty like the Steelers, Niners and Boys before.
That game took out a lot of our players , Martz. Plus we more or less squandered the 2001 draft when we had all those high picks (3 Nr. 1, 2 Nr. 2). Then the Warner hand injury that eventually led to his leaving.
To become a dynasty so much has to fall in place and sadly it did not happen for our Rams back then.
This time around I am not looking for a dynasty because of that experience with the GSOT team that IMHO was even more talented than the 2021 team.
I think the Rams will be a very good team again next season and the NFC looks very winnable again especially should Rodgers leave GB. AFC is loaded with some great young QBs on strong teams . So many you need too hands to count them.
Our window to win another title should be open for 2-3 more years but only if AD comes back and if we stay more or less injury free.
An injury to Stafford or Kupp would all but squash our chances .
