The sports talk shows are filled with discussions about what kind of team the Rams will have next year already. Stop. As fans we need to forget about next season for a while and just fully appreciate sitting on the throne. These things are not guaranteed and when the Lombardi comes around, you better spend more time enjoying the one in hand than wondering how many are imminent.
After the GSOT Super Bowl win I was sure we would win at least two more. It didn't happen. It should have, but it didn't. But winning that one was something some really good teams in Tennessee, Jacksonville, Minnesota, Philadelphia and Oakland never got to experience.
I wanted so bad for one of the 70s teams to break through. Or one of the John Robinson teams. When Vermeil got it done I fell into the trap of thinking we'd be the next dynasty.
With Kroenke, Snead and McVay, that's a possibility. But all I am going to think about all spring and summer is the magical ride we just experienced. It deserves that.
