There has to be a pre-FA and a post-FA category for Superbowl teams. And there also has to be a pre-Social Media and post-social media category for both Superbowls and HCs.
In no way do I wish to diminish what the Pats did. It'll never be matched. Why? Because the NFL has placed so much effort to achieve parity.
Dynasty must be redefined into meaning perpetually in the Playoffs with a team good enough to possibly win in the Superbowl.
Therefore, I couldn't agree more. Enjoy this superbowl victory. And do NOT expect the Rams to be back, because if you do you'll be disappointed and find fault when they don't. Could they get back? Yes. But it would be against all odds.
