I'm not too familiar with how bad this injury is, how long it takes to recuperate, and how it affects a player's ability.
I saw a post that mentioned he might miss the entire next season! That's shocking to me.
Am I correct in believing that OBJ is also a free agent now? So if the injury is bad and a safe assumption is that he'll much of next season, would the Rams be wise to say "goodbye" to ObJ and just go with Woods and find a better WR than Skrowanik?
A "regular" ACL takes about 6-7 month. If more parts of the knee is injured, it can take up to 10 months before he sees the field again. So the possibility of him missing the entire season is real. have to wait out the MRI results.
Even without him the Rams should be set up pretty good at WR and TE and RB.
WR: Cooper, Woods, Jefferson, Atwell, Powell, Skrow.
TE: Higbee, Hopkins, Blanton, Mundt, Harris
RB: Akers, Henderson, Funk, Calais . My wish is for the Rams to bring in a bruising, lead blocking fb for those nerve wrecking short yardage situations.
Go Rams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
