By actually allowing McVay to grow, create better coaching technique, (smarts)... Or
By removing from necessity those scenarios that McVay has/is overcoming?
As for continuing problems I think he needs to overcome: Time management, in some ways game management (though to a much lesser extent), and just what was going through his head on those challenges... bother me. And they bother me because those are things that seem to me to be coaching flaws that this far into his HC tenure should have been Easily overcome... in fact overcome before even becoming a Pro HC. Not even youth explains that to me.
Should note... that's just things I remain unsure of... not things I believe he's completely failing at. I'm sure he's a great coach... no one's perfect.
