This is an issue.
McVay has long had issues with nerves and over-thinking things. It has impaired his leadership and cost him games. He WAS young and glitchy in '19.
I think he has grown a lot. He is not wholly out of the woods. But I think he does have some better judgement than he did. I think that, some red flags and odd play calls notwithstanding, he is steadier, more balanced in running a game.
I don't think he is finished growing. I hope not, because he isn't fully there.
But I think his maturity is closer to balancing his brilliance than it used to be. He's led us through a long gauntlet this year and through the 1st 3 playoff games.
Hope it's enough at the last hurdle.
