I believe if a team moves they should be forced to leave behind the name AND heroes.... No other city should be allowed too take the name or celebrate, as their own, the players that played under that banner. But obviously it happens a lot.... so it is what it is.



I'm glad they didn't have that rule when the Rams left or I wouldn't have had a team for 21 years..... If the Rams would have moved to STL and changed their name, colors and identity I would have zero interest in them, but since they still had the name, the colors and the horns...I wasn't going anywhere. I was upset for sure and heartbroken, but to me they were just on a long long road trip.

I really feel bad for the Houston Oiler fans who lost their team and then when they finally got another NFL team they didn't even bring back the "Oilers" name
