That's right. 11 of the 22 starters for Tampa Bay will be FAs this year. They might be able to keep 3 or 4; but that leaves at least 6 and probably 8 that will be replaced for the 2022 season. It also means that they won't be going out and finding top level FAs to bring in.

And Gronk in no way looked like the Gronk of old. He's lost quickness, speed, and you can see his body is worn down. He dropped a bunch of easy balls this year and you can see that bending down to get the ball at his knees is really hard for him. So that means it is likely Brady also looses his security blanket.

Is Tom Brady going to suffer one more season through that kind of adventure? With awfully little chance of getting very deep into the playoffs, let alone being a legitimate Super Bowl contender?

I don't think so, no matter what the media might think. He's been an amazing performer. But it eventually ends for everyone. He won't be going out with a Superbowl victory like I'm sure he wanted to.
